Here's how to give yourself a salon smooth look at home:
READ PRECAUTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE
CAUTION: OVERHEATED WAX MAY CAUSE BURNS.
1) HOW TO GET STARTED
Do not allow wax to come into contact with water as it becomes ineffective.
For best results, hair should be at least 5 mm long.
Skin must be clean and dry, not irritated and free from creams and oils before waxing.
2) HOW TO HEAT THE WAX
Only use one method of heating: microwave or saucepan of boiling water. Do not switch between the different methods of heating even when reusing the product for several different applications.
ALWAYS REMOVE THE LID BEFORE HEATING.
To prevent burning always follow the recommended heating times (timed with a watch). After heating the wax, take care when handling the heated jar as it will be hot.
(a) MICROWAVE
Always check the heating time with a watch.
How long should I heat the wax for?
Recommended heating time*
650W (Full Power)
Heating Times - Full jar: 60 seconds
Heating Times - Half jar: 40 seconds
850W (Full Power)
Heating Times - Full jar: 45 seconds
Heating Times - Half jar: 30 seconds
1000W (Full Power)
Heating Times - Full jar: 40 seconds
Heating Times - Half jar: 30 seconds
WARNING: Always hold the jar upright when removing from microwave and do not tilt.
*The times given are approximate and may vary depending on the specific wattage and type of microwave.
(b) SAUCEPAN WITH HOT WATER
Place sufficient water in a saucepan to heat the jar without allowing it to float. Do not cover the saucepan. Once the water has boiled, reduce the heat to minimum, add the jar and heat as per the table below.
Do not allow the water to come into contact with the wax or the wax to boil as this will render it ineffective.
Recommended heating time
Saucepan of hot water
Full jar: 10 minutes
Half jar: 5 minutes
3) HOW TO CHECK THE WAX TEMPERATURE
a) Use the end of the spatula with the blue square to stir the wax for about one minute, starting in the centre and working out towards the side of the jar.
b) If after a minute the word NO appears on the spatula end instead of the blue rectangle the wax is too hot. Wait until it cools down. Re-test the temperature by stirring the wax again with the spatula. The wax can be used when the word NO disappears from the spatula end, and the blue rectangle reappears. To speed up the cooling, carefully stir the wax with the spatula.
c) Always test the wax temperature by applying a small amount on the inside of your wrist to ensure that it is comfortable for use.
4) HOW TO APPLY AND REMOVE THE WAX
If you have not waxed before we recommend to start by removing hair from the legs. Only when you have experience then progress to the sensitive areas of underarm, bikini line and face. We recommend not to wax the same area of skin twice during a waxing session.

Do not use on varicose veins, scars, moles, broken, irritated or sunburnt skin.
Check with your doctor before using if you are on any medication which can affect the skin or if you suffer from any skin related disorder. Waxing is not suitable for the elderly or diabetic.
Before use, TEST YOUR SKIN REACTION by applying the wax to a small part of the area you wish to treat, following the directions for use. If after 24 HOURS there is no adverse reaction, begin using.
If you experience any smarting/tingling during use, remove the wax immediately and rinse thoroughly with water. If this sensation persists, seek medical advice.

WHEN WAXING
If you get overheated wax on your skin rinse under running cold water for 10 minutes. It's important to remove the strip in one quick movement, keeping it as close as possible to your skin. Failure to do so may be painful and waxing will be less effective.
AFTER WAXING
It is normal that your skin turns red after waxing.
If you experience discomfort, burning sensation or bruising, apply a cold compress to the skin.
Symptoms should disappear within 24 hours. If not, seek medical advice.
After waxing we recommend waiting 24 hours before using antiperspirant, any other perfumed product or sunbathing.
Do not scratch skin after hair removal as this may cause skin irritation.
