ALWAYS REMOVE THE LID AND PROTECTIVE FOIL SEAL BEFORE HEATING THE WAX, ENSURING NO

TRACES OF ALUMINIUM ARE LEFT ON THE RIM OF THE JAR.

  • Do not overheat the wax. OVERHEATED WAX MAY CAUSE BURNS. Follow the recommended heating times (timed with your watch).
  • Follow the directions for use and precautions on this leaflet. Do not dispose of this leaflet until the pack is empty.
  • We recommend not to wax the same area of skin twice during a waxing session.
  • Do not scratch skin after hair removal as this may cause skin irritation.

HOW TO HEAT THE WAX

  • Unscrew the lid in an anti-clockwise direction to reveal the jar.
  • Remove the protective foil seal, ensuring no traces of aluminium are left on the rim of the jar.
  • Select your method of heating: Microwave or In Water on Stove. Once having selected the heating method do not switch between methods.

(A) Microwave:

  • Heat the jar without the lid in the microwave as per the guidelines to the left. Always check the heating time with a watch.
  • The times given are approximate and may vary depending on the specific wattage and type of microwave.
  • After heating the wax leave it for 1 minute in the microwave turned off.
  • WARNING : Always hold the jar upright when removing from the microwave without tilting
  • If the jar is deformed or the wax has boiled over, DO NOT TOUCH THE JAR and leave it to cool down. If you get overheated wax on your skin, hold under cold running water for 10 minutes and seek medical advice immediately DO NOT REMOVE THE WAX USING A STRIP.

B) Heating In Water on Stove:

  • Place sufficient water in a saucepan.
  • Ensure that the water level does not go above the shoulder of the jar to prevent the jar from floating. Do not cover the saucepan.
  • Once the water has boiled, reduce the heat to the minimum, add the jar and heat as per the guidelines to the left.
  • After heating the wax, take care in handling it, as it may be hot.

Recommended heating time

Full jar: 10 minutes

Half jar: 5 minutes

HOW TO CHECK THE WAX TEMPERATURE

  • Use the end of the spatula with the black indicator to stir the wax.
  • If after a minute you see a cross (X) on the spatula end instead of the black indicator the wax is too hot.
  • Leave it to cool. To speed up the cooling, carefully stir the wax with the spatula.
  • If the black indicator appears on the spatula then the wax is not too hot to be applied.
  • Always test the wax temperature by applying a small amount on the inside of your wrist to ensure that it is comfortable for use.

3 STEPS FOR BEAUTIFUL AND SMOOTH SKIN

STEP 1)

  • With the spatula, take a small amount of wax and apply A VERY THIN LAYER (almost invisible) onto your skin.
  • Always apply the wax onto the skin in the direction of hair growth (for legs apply knee to ankle).
  • Make sure the area covered by the wax is shorter than the strips.
  • Beauty tip : For best and most effective results, make sure the layer of wax is very thin (less than 1mm thickness)

STEP 2)

  • Immediately place the strip over the layer of wax, ensuring that there is at least 1cm at the bottom which is wax free. Smooth the strip over the wax in the direction of hair growth.
  • Beauty tip : Keep the skin taut to avoid discomfort.

STEP 3)

  • Hold the skin taut with one hand, and with the other hand grip the bottom of the strip. In one swift and decisive movement, remove the strip against the direction of hair growth (for legs pull from ankle to knee).
  • Beauty tip: Never lift the strip upwards, but keep it parallel and as close to the skin as possible!
  • Keep the strip after use. Wash them with hot water and reuse them the next time you wax.

USE ON UNDERARMS

  • Cut the fabric strip to a suitable size for use on the underarms.
  • Lift the elbow up and well back for the skin to be taut.
  • Underarm hair grows in 2 different directions, and so requires waxing in 2 steps:
  • For the upper part of the underarm apply the wax with the spatula in very thin layers towards the elbow.
  • For the lower part of the underarm apply the wax in the opposite direction.
  • Remove the strip against the direction of hair growth.
  • Tip: Ensure the skin is clean and free from deodorant. Use talcum powder before waxing to reduce any excess of moisture.

USE ON BIKINI

  • Cut the fabric strip to a suitable size for use on the bikini area.
  • Hold the skin taut and apply the wax in a very thin layer in the direction of hair growth. Only depilate a small area at a time.
  • Remove the strip against the direction of hair growth.
  • Tip: Exfoliate regularly to reduce the chance of ingrowing hairs.

USE ON UPPER LIP

  • Cut the fabric strip to a suitable size for use on the upper lip.
  • Hold the skin taut and apply a very thin layer of wax above one side of the upper lip in the direction of hair growth ensuring wax does not touch the lips.
  • Remove the strip against the direction of hair growth.
  • Repeat on the other side of the lip.

AFTER WAXING

  • Wash the wax residues off your skin with water.
  • Wash the strips and the spatula with Hot Water to reuse them for next waxing session.
  • Using a damp cloth, remove the excess wax from the edges of the jar and the lid before closing it. During this, it is important that the wax does not come into contact with water as it becomes ineffective.
  • It is normal that your skin turns a bit red after waxing, we recommend waiting 24 hours before using anti-perspirant, any other perfumed product, swimming or sunbathing.

PRECAUTIONS

  • If you get overheated wax on your skin, hold under cold running water for 10 minutes and seek medical advice immediately.
  • If you left the lid on the jar while heating it or the wax is overheated, DO NOT TOUCH THE JAR, and leave it to cool down for an hour.
  • Designed for use on legs, underarms, bikini line, arm, and upper lip but not suitable for use on any other body parts.
